She served more than four years as a financial social worker at On the Rise Community Development Center providing financial coaching, workshop facilitation, program evaluation, and community partnership development. A highly-skilled community-builder using expressive arts techniques to develop community connection, joy, and capacity for social change. Has worked as director of improvisational, community-based performances that elevate social issues and inspire action for change. Embodied racial justice facilitator working with white anti-racist and multiracial groups to build just communities. Former co-president of InterPlay’s international board of directors. Wisdom On Wings Coaching – Christine Gautreaux MSW is dedicated to the pursuit of play, joy, art & social justice. Her superpowers include connecting people, helping folks manifest their dreams, standing up against injustice & using art to make a difference in the world. She currently uses the somatic body wisdom tools of Interplay to address issues of oppression, racial justice, self-care, and grief and loss with individuals. She works in community with people living with severe and persistent mental illness, homelessness, women refugees and women who are incarcerated, and also works with professional caregivers, activists and artists to maintain balance and self-care during these intense times we find ourselves living. She is a professional speaker, coach, author and entrepreneur, and the co-author of Stillpoint: A Caregivers Playbook to find ease and to take a deep breath and reclaim joy, Women Connected in Wisdom V.
